Takuya Kuriyama
Kuriyama was born in Tokyo in the mid-1980. He still lives and works there today.
A very sensitive and refine individual, he uses Adobe Illustrator to create artworks that are strongly influence by his passion for games and for food, one passion he shares with Malaysians and that depict some kind of imaginary and ideal world.
His process starts with a rough sketch done with a pencil. Once, the work is created on the computer, he prints very limited high quality editions of his artworks.
His work has been exhibited in Malaysia, in France and in Japan. He has received prestigious award in Japan mostly for his work as a graphic designer.
He is now looking into transforming his designs in big paintings and into designing objects.
