Diego Perrotta - photoBorn in 1973, in Buenos-Aires, Argentina where he lives and works, Diego Perrotta is the leading artist of his generation in his country.

Most Museums, there, own his artworks and he has received most major awards in Argentina in drawing, painting and prints.

Early, he started covering the walls of Buenos-Aires with unique and appealing murals paintings.

He developed a very personal aesthetics that was further developed when he stay for a one year residency in Oaxaca in Mexico. At that moment, he started creating ceramics pieces.

His work talks about the life of a mythical character he created called “Matasiete”, a character which haunts the nights of Buenos-Aires.

His work has been shown extensively in Mexico, France, Spain, Germany, Japan and Malaysia. It is part of important collections in Latin-America and Europe.
